Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Monday for Maria Elisabeth "Betty" Schaper, 81, at Lone Mountain Cemetery.
Visitation will be from noon-2 p.m. today at FitzHenry's Funeral Home.
A Carson City resident for the past three years, Mrs. Schaper died March 4, 2003, at her home. She was born June 1, 1921, in Amsterdam, Holland, to Geradus W. and Maria Elisabeth Mulder.
Prior to moving to Carson City she lived for 42 years in San Jose, Calif., and for 36 years in Amsterdam.
Mrs. Schaper was the youngest of nine children and came to the U.S. in 1958 with her husband and daughter. She was a homemaker.
Among her survivors are: her husband Nick of Carson City; daughter and son-in-law Johanna and Jim Billig of Carson City; grandson and wife Mike and Cindy Garcia of Weaverville, Calif.; granddaughter Jackie Garcia of Redding, Calif.; great-grandchildren Mike, Zach, Lacey, Brandi all of Weaverville.
FitzHenry's Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
