Obituary: Dorothy C. Skibinski

A memorial Mass for Dorothy C. Skibinski, 65, a Dayton resident for the past eight years, will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Anne's Catholic Church in Dayton.

A rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Wednesday at FitzHenry's Chapel of Faith.

Mr. Skibinski died March 14, 2003, at Evergreen Convalescent Hospital. She was born Jan. 10, 1938, in Perth Amboy, N.J., to Joseph and Lottie Maliszewski Staskiewicz.

She married George Skibinski on June 27, 1959, in Iselin, N. J.

Before moving to Dayton, she lived in Canyon Country, Calif.

Mrs. Skibinski was a homemaker. She was a past member of the Ladies Guild and enjoyed traveling and attending her granddaughter's soccer games. She was a Catholic and attended St. Ann's Catholic Church.

Among her survivors are her husband, George, and daughter, Donna Winter, both of Dayton; sisters Florence Oliphant of Corvallis, Ore., and Joyce Skibinski of Lakehurst, N.J.; and granddaughter, Ashley Winter of Dayton.

Cremation will be at FitzHenry's.
