A memorial service for Ann E. "Gigi" Payton, 81, a Carson City resident for the past 17 years, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at 4966 Center Drive, Carson City.
Mrs. Payton died March 18, 2003, in Carson City. She was born March 27, 1921, in Weleetka, Okla., to H. Frank and Grace Allen Ellison.
She graduated from high school in Oklahoma.
Before moving to Carson City, she lived in Orange County, Calif., for many years.
Mrs. Payton worked as an accounting-and-billing clerk for a lumber company before her retirement.
Among her survivors are her granddaughter, Scotti Brown, of Carson City; and great-grandchildren Baron and Ashley Brown.
Cremation will be at Walton's Sierra Crematory.
Walton's Chapel of the Valley is in charge of arrangements.
