Obituary: Everett Olin Jr.

Everett "Salmon Eggs" Olin Jr., 70, a Silver Springs resident for the past eight years, died March 24, 2003, at his home. He was born Dec. 24, 1932, in Taft, Calif., to Everett Sr. and Emma Hardin Olin.

Before moving to Silver Springs, he lived in Battle Mountain.

Mr. Olin was a retired miner and mechanic.

Among his survivors are his wife, Lorraine, and stepdaughter, Betty Dial, both of Silver Springs; sons Donny of Arizona, Ronny of Pomona, Calif., and Steven of San Bernardino, Calif.; stepson, Raymond Rogers of Redding, Calif.; sister, Marguerite Forney of Bullhead City, Ariz.; several grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

No service will be held.

Smith Family Funeral Home and Crematory in Fallon is in charge of arrangements.
