Obituary: Patricia Jackman

A funeral for Patricia Helen Jackman, 41, a Dayton resident for the past two years, will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Walton's Chapel of the Valley.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until after the service.

Mrs. Jackman died May 3, 2003, in Dayton. She was born Oct. 3, 1961, in Duluth, Minn., to Edward L. and Mary Louise Eaton Makowsky.

She graduated from high school in El Cajon, Calif., and community college in Duluth.

She married Michael W. Jackman on July 8, 1994, at Lake Tahoe.

Before moving to Dayton, she lived in El Cajon, San Diego and the San Francisco bay area.

Mrs. Jackman was a homemaker. She was a member of the Sports Car Club of America and the Virginia Range Protection Association. She loved to drive sports cars and ride horses.

She was preceded in death by her parents and older brother Michael John Makowsky.

Among her survivors are her husband, Michael of Dayton; daughter, Amber Leigh Dean of Duluth; mother- and father-in-law Robert and Jackie Jackman of Yerington; sisters Nancy Jane Fogg of Stagecoach, Peggy Ann Middleton of Oakland, Lucille E. Roberson of Canton, Ga., and Mary Lou Olson of Marietta, Ga.; brothers William G. Makowsky of El Cajon and Edward L. Makowsky of Canton, Ga.; and grandchild, Dakota Charles Oman of Duluth.

Cremation will be at Walton's Carson Sierra Crematory.

Walton's Chapel of the Valley is in charge of arrangements.
