The Galena High golf team's dominance this season was reflected in this year's all-region voting. Matt Kinsinger, who finished third at the state tournament, was voted Northern 4A Player of the Year. Keith Mussallem, who led the Grizzlies to their second consecutive third-place finish at state, was voted Coach of the Year.

Kinsinger was joined on the first team by teammates Pat Flynn, Morgan Goff and Steve Kafchinski, as well as Sparks' Greg Wenzel and Fallon's Brody Hammon.

Galena's Wade McElroy made the second team, along with McQueen's Yves Vasquez, Reno's Jared Becher, Reed's Jimmy Morris, Spanish Springs' Edgar Leano and South Tahoe's Dan D'Angelo.

Carson's Tim Hohl and J.T. Cockerill made the Northern 4A third team. They were joined by Reed's Zach Jonas, McQueen's Jeff Spillers and Spanish Springs' Danny Peltier and Dennis Car.
