Joanne L. Whitesell, 55, a Minden resident for the past two years, died May 23, 2003, at her home. She was born March 16, 1948, in Tacoma, Wash., to Julius A. and Helen M. Savage Nollet.
Before moving to Minden, she lived in Tennessee, coming from Carson City.
Mrs. Whitesell was a homemaker. She loved stitchery and crocheting.
She was preceded in death by her father.
Among her survivors are her mother, Helen Twiss, of Minden; daughter, Lorena Meyers, of Southern California; brothers, Richard D. Nollet of Carson City, Harold J. Nollet, of Oregon City, Ore. and Daniel K. Nollet of El Cajon, Calif.; sisters, Doris E. Knesek, of Minden, and Cheryl Pascarelli, of Florida; grandchildren, Jonathan Meyers and Corey Meyers, both of Southern California, and numerous nieces and nephews.
A private family memorial was held.
Capitol City Cremation & Burial Society is in charge of arrangements.
