A memorial Mass for Linda J. Allmett, 62, a Carson City resident for the past 22 years, will be at noon Saturday at St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church's small chapel.

Mrs. Allmett died Oct. 29, 2003, at home. She was born Sept. 12, 1941, in Glendale, Calif., to Bill and Viola Ruggles Forsyth.

Before moving to Carson City, she lived in Washington.

Mrs. Allmett was a medical technician at Carson-Tahoe Hospital. She enjoyed painting, gardening, crossword puzzles, cooking and the outdoors. She was a Catholic.

Among her survivors are her daughters Donett Barff of Laughlin, Texas; Celeste Phillips of Carson City and Kara Allmett of West Sacramento, Calif.

Cremation will be at FitzHenry's Crematory.

FitzHenry's Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
