A $1,000 reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest of a man who robbed the Eagle Valley Market at 933 Woodside Drive at knife point on Monday.
According to Carson City Sheriff's Department reports, a white male subject about 5-foot, 8-inches tall entered the market at 10:25 p.m. and robbed the store with a 6- to 8- inch knife with a brown, wooden handle. The man, described as having a heavy build, wore a black hooded sweatshirt, black gloves, black pants, black jacket and a black knit ski mask. He fled with an undetermined amount of cash.
The Carson City Sheriff's Department is asking for the public's help in identifying the subject. Anyone with information relating to the crime should contact Detective Cate Summers at 887-2020 ext. 1400 or Secret Witness at 322-4900.
