A memorial service for Martha Ann Knutson, 73, a Gardnerville resident for the past 21 years, will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the First Baptist Church in Minden with the Rev. Albert Vacek officiating.
Mrs. Knutson died Nov. 13, 2003, at home.
She was born March 12, 1930, in Oklahoma to W. Louis and Ida May Suit Chamness.
She married Raymond D. Knutson on Feb. 15, 1959, in Oakland, Calif.
She graduated from Wilburton High School in Wilburton, Okla.
Before moving to Gardnerville, she lived in Sunnyvale, Calif., for 20 years, coming from Alameda, Calif.
Mrs. Knutson worked for Pacific Bell for 29 years in Oakland and Sunnyvale. She was a member of Valley Springs Baptist Church in Gardnerville. She enjoyed bowling and flying with her husband, who was a private pilot.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Ernest Chamness; and sisters Mary Frances Cox and Helen Beecher.
Among her survivors is her husband of Gardnerville.
Private inurnment will be at Eastside Memorial Park in Minden.

Capitol City Cremation & Burial Society is in charge of arrangements.
