William and Denise Dunckhorst of Carson City have announced the marriage of their son, John, to Robyn Rives, daughter of Robert G. and Mary Lou Rives of Battle Mountain.
Robyn and John were married July 20 at the Lakefront Wedding Chapel in South Lake Tahoe.
Maid of honor was Susan Rives; flower girl was Jordan Hammill. The best man was Cory Dunckhorst; Robert J. Rives and Christian Rives, the bride's sons, were the ring bearers.
Robyn is a graduate of Battle Mountain High School and Great Basin College in Elko. She is a registered nurse with Humbolt General Hospital in Winnemucca.
John is a 1995 graduate of Carson High School, and the Nevada Highway Patrol Academy. He is a trooper with the Nevada Highway Patrol in Battle Mountain.
After a honeymoon to Yosemite National Park, San Francisco, Napa and Northern California, Robyn and John have made their home in Battle Mountain.
