Fernley golf pro Don Boyle was in third place after two rounds of the Northern California Senior Open Championship being held in Patterson, Calif.
Boyle, who was the first round leader after shooting a 6-under-par 66 on Monday, struggled to a four-over par 76 on Tuesday for a two-round total of 142. Boyle trails the leader, Larry Babica of Arnold, Calif., by three strokes.
Babica has a two-round total of 139 (69-70). Bob Marshall of Los Gatos, Calif., and former assistant pro at Edgewood Tahoe, was in second with a 140 (68-72).
The third and final round will be held today.
