The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:


-- A 22-year-old carpenter from Union City, Calif., was arrested at 11:49 p.m. Friday in the 400 block of Saliman Road on suspicion of misdemeanor failure to appear for minor in consuming charges. Bail was set at $310.


-- A 24-year-old Dipping Room employee from Carson City was arrested at 2:33 a.m. Saturday in the 2700 block of East Highway 50 on suspicion of misdemeanor failure to appear, driving under the influence first offense and suspension of driver's license. Bail was set at $2,074.


-- Dewayne Enoch, a 23-year-old transient was arrested at 6:56 p.m. Friday on the 1400 block of South Carson Street on suspicion of felony possession of a controlled substance and misdemeanor possession of a hypodermic needle. Bail was set at $3,605.


--A 28-year-old self-employed mechanic from Carson City was arrested at 7:10 p.m. Friday on the corner of Curry and Robinson streets for suspicion of gross misdemeanor possession of a deadly weapon, misdemeanor battery and disorderly conduct. Bail was set at $4,001.


--A 38-year-old painter from Carson City was arrested at 1:20 p.m. Friday in the 2000 block of Highway 50 East for suspicion of misdemeanor failure to appear for traffic charges. Bail was set at $705.
