Agnes Pauline Amon, 87, of Stagecoach , died Sept. 11, 2003, at home. She was born Feb. 10, 1916, in DeLeon, Texas, to Culley Clarence and Maggie Boyette Grissom.
She married Bob Amon in 1921 in DeLeon.
Before moving to Stagecoach, she lived in Dolan Springs, Ariz., for 22 years and in Livingston, Mont., for 36 years.
Mrs. Amon was a member of Eastern Star and the Methodist church. She worked as a medical nurses' aide.
She was preceded in death by her husband and a sister.
Among her survivors are her daughter and son-in-law, Susan and Vernon Payette of Stagecoach; sons and daughters-in-law Stanley and Gloria Amon of San Miguel, Calif., and Bob and Patricia Amon of Boulder City; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
A private family service was held.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Cancer Society or the Multiple Sclerosis Foundation.
Freitas Rupracht Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
