DOUGLAS 10, HUG 0


The Douglas High girls soccer team built a 9-0 halftime lead and scored all 10 of its goals in the first 42 minutes of the game.


Christina Bradshaw and Hannah Sullivan scord two goals, Allison Chapman and Kim Lefever each had a goal and an assist, Mackenzie Porter scored on an assist by Jenny Jaggard, Rachel Tappen scored on an assist from Savannah Gray and Jackie Premo and Andrea Bryant each scored.


Bryant, Sullivan, Bradshaw and Lefever combined in the goal to post the shutout. Bradshaw and Lefever each made one save.


DOUGLAS JVS 8, NORTH TAHOE 1


The Douglas junior varsity girls soccer team has rolled to a 6-0 start, outscoring its opponents 36-3. Against North Tahoe, Morgan Lefever had two goals and an assist, Allison Anbraski had a goal and an assist and Samantha Johnson added three assists. Goalie Hillary Winans and defenders Samantha Perry and Katie Nalder also played well.
