Rose Marie Moline

A service for Rose Marie Moline, 65, a Carson City resident for the past two years, will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Gall Catholic Church in Gardnerville.

Mrs. Moline died April 1, 2004, in Carson City. She was born Aug. 14, 1938, in Wahoo, Neb., to Frank J. and Anna Sedlacek.

She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, a sister, her husband and her son Douglas Moline.

She attended a Catholic elementary school and Prague High School, where she was a cheerleader. During high school, she met Robert Joseph Moline. They married April 6, 1957, and moved to California, where they lived for 35 years and raised three children.

Mrs. Moline worked at Robertshaw Controls for 17 years.

She moved to Gardnerville in 1993, and for her last two years, lived in Carson City. She enjoyed working in the garden, crafts, sewing and spending time with her grandchildren.

Among her survivors are her son Martin of Silver Springs; daughter and son-in-law, Melanie and Larry Ewart of Gardnerville; grandchildren Drew and Clayton Ewart, Krystal Kermott and Michael Moline; great-grandchildren Parker and Ashtynn Rose Moline of Moreno Valley, Calif.; sister Mary Ann Sillman of Santa Maria, Calif.; brother Francis Sedlacek of New River, Ariz.; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Capitol City Cremation and Burial Society in Carson City provided the arrangements.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to The American Cancer Society.
