'Bear Aware' expert atsportsmen's meeting

The Ormsby Sportsmen's Association (OSA), a local organization for hunters and fishermen, will meet at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 17 at the Carson Nugget Convention Center.

The evening's guest will be Carl Lackey of the Nevada Department of Wildlife (NDOW).

He will present the NDOW program called "Bear Aware" which will explain the rules to follow for keeping humans and bears out of harm's way.

All OSA meetings and functions are free of charge. They are open to all club members and anyone else interested in the outdoors, hunting, fishing, camping, etc.

Effective next year, the annual membership dues will be $10 for adults and $2 for youngsters under the age of 16.
