A graveside inurnment service for William Oakley Worth, 86, a Carson City resident for the past three years, will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Lone Mountain Cemetery.

Mr. Worth died April 12, 2004, at home. He was born Dec. 27, 1917, in Spokane, Wash., to Oakley Roy and Iris Gwendolyn Clyde Worth.

He received a bachelor of science degree from the University of the Pacific.

Before moving to Carson City, he lived in California.

Mr. Worth worked for 35 years for the Department of the Navy. He was a 50-year member of the Masonic Order.

He served in the Army Corps of Engineers.

He was preceded in death by his wife Emma Jan. 4, 2002.

Among his survivors are his daughters Karen Hartnett of Reno and Patricia Jones of Valley Springs, Calif.; and grandchildren Sharon Comfort of Phoenix and Anna and Russell Jones of Valley Springs.

Cremation will be at FitzHenry's Crematory.

FitzHenry's Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
