A remembrance gathering for Patricia Elaine Cable, 69, a Stagecoach resident for the past 45 years, will be at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at 5426 Hidden Valley Court in Reno. Call 857-3233 for information.

Mrs. Cable died Aug. 8, 2004, at her home. She was born Aug. 2, 1935, in Fall River, Mass., to William and Margaret Wick Petersen.

She graduated from New Bedford High School and New Bedford Technical School with a bachelors degree in textile design. She graduated from Western Nevada Community College with a practical nursing degree and she received a bachelors degree from Graceland College and became a registered nurse.

Before moving to Stagecoach, she lived in Cape Cod, Mass.

She married David Cable April 9, 1959, in Reno.

Mrs. Cable worked at Harold's Club as a dealer (21, dice and roulette) and retired in October 1970. She served as administrative coordinator at Carson-Tahoe Hospital until her second retirement. She was also a ski instructor at Mount Rose Ski Area. She enjoyed skiing, tennis, golf, gardening and crafts. She was a Methodist.

Among her survivors are her husband of Stagecoach; brothers Charles Petersen III of Sandwich, Mass., and Jeffrey Petersen of East Freetown, Mass.

Cremation will be at FitzHenry's Crematory.

FitzHenry's Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
