A funeral service for Rowene Marie Dyer, 71, a Carson City-area resident for 25 years, will be at 12:30 p.m. Monday at Walton's Chapel of the Valley.
Mrs. Dyer died Dec. 2, 2004, at her home. She was born Jan. 11, 1933, to Kenneth and Mary Katzman in Des Moines, Iowa.
She graduated from East Des Moines High School.
She married Jack Dyer on Oct. 21, 1951, in Des Moines.
Before moving to the Carson City area, she lived in Sylmar, Calif., for many years.
Among her survivors are her husband of Dayton; son and daughter-in-law Brian and Lisa Dyer of Dayton; daughter Karen Fritz of Carson City; granddaughters Savannah Fritz, Breezi Dyer and Shantell DePuy; sister Mary-Lou Goodman; brother Douglas Paul Katzman; three grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
