A funeral for Eileen Louise Ronald, 71, a Minden resident for the past five years, will be at 11 a.m. Friday at St. Gall Catholic Church in Gardnerville.

A viewing will be from 5-7 p.m. Thursday at St. Gall with a rosary said at 7 p.m.

Mrs. Ronald died Dec. 4, 2004, at Tahoe Pacific Hospital in Reno. She was born Aug. 2, 1933, in Ohio to Clarence and Angela Higgins Kirch.

Before moving to Minden, she lived in Walnut Creek, Calif.

She married Wally on April 16, 1966.

Mrs. Ronald was active in the Alcoholic Anonymous program for 17 years and proud of helping people in the organization. She enjoyed gardening and decorating her home. She was a member of St. Gall.

She was preceded in death by sister, Mary Clare Joyce.

Among her survivors are her husband of Minden; son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Mishell of Concord, Calif.; sister, Ann Therese Bordonaro of Ohio; granddaughter, Sapphire; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Burial will be at Eastside Memorial Park in Minden.

FitzHenry's Carson Valley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
