Carson City
The lunch menu for the Carson City Senior Citizens Center, 911 Beverly Drive:
Monday: Enchiladas, refried beans, asparagus, 1/2 orange, ice cream.
Tuesday: Beefy Mac and cheese, Italian veggies, garlic bread, peaches, cookie.
Wednesday: Sweet and sour pork, white rice, green beans, roll with butter, ambrosia cake.
Thursday: Cornish game hens, baked potato, peas, roll w/butter, romaine salad with dressing, berry pie.
Friday: Center closed.
Douglas County
The menu for the Douglas County Senior Center, 2300 Meadow Lane:
Monday: Turkey with stuffing casserole, green salad, fruit, Scandinavian blend vegetables, roll, cranberry sauce.
Tuesday: Sausage and peppers over linguini, Caesar salad, Italian blend vegetables, garlic bread, carrot cake.
Wednesday: Liver and onions with bacon, tropical fruit salad, potatoes O'Brien, brussels sprouts, apple juice, bread pudding.
Thursday: Chicken cordon bleu, mashed potatoes w/gravy, fruit salad, San Francisco blend vegetables, roll.
Friday: Holiday, center closed.
Dayton
The lunch menu for the Dayton Senior Center, 320 Old Dayton Valley Road:
Monday: Veal cutlet, mashed potatoes with gravy, mixed veggies, apples, brownies.
Tuesday: Swiss steak, mashed potatoes, carrot-raisin salad, plums, fruit crisp.
Wednesday: Turkey tetrazzini, green beans, biscuit, fruit cocktail, cookies.
Thursday: Chili beans, carrots, cornbread, apple or grape juice.
Friday: Holiday, center closed.
Silver Springs
The menu for the Silver Springs Senior Center, 1050 Pyramid Way:
Monday: Tacos (2) with lettuce, tomato and cheese, refried beans, Spanish rice, cantaloupe, salsa and chips.
Tuesday: Waffles, sausage and bacon, scrambled eggs, V-8 juice, fruit salad.
Wednesday: Polish sausage, sauerkraut, creamed vegetables, fruit mix, rye bread with butter.
Thursday: Spaghetti, cauliflower, tossed salad, garlic bread, fresh orange.
Friday: Center closed.
Fernley
The menu for the Fernley Senior Center 1170 W. Newlands Dr:
Monday: Sweet and sour pork, waldorf salad, broccoli, rice, roll, cherry crisp.
Tuesday: Swiss steak, mixed veggies, mashed potatoes, peaches, roll.
Wednesday: Chicken enchilada casserole, broccoli, refried beans, mixed fruit.
Thursday: Cook's choice with baked potato, green salad, asparagus, melon cup, lime pie.
Friday: Center closed.
Storey County
The Storey County Senior Citizens Center is on the corner of E and Mill streets in Virginia City:
Monday: Fish and chips, broccoli, mixed fruit.
Tuesday: Soup and ham sandwich, carrot salad, rice pudding.
Wednesday: Chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes w/gravy, Harvard beets, cobbler.
Thursday: Beef enchilada, refried beans, salad, citrus medley.
Friday: Roast chicken breast, salad, baked potato w/the works, veggie medley, ice cream sundaes.
Yerington
The Yerington Senior Center is at 117 Tilson Way:
Monday: San Francisco pork chops, vegetables, cottage cheese, applesauce, cookies, soup.
Tuesday: Spaghetti, green salad, green beans, bread pudding, soup.
Wednesday: Fish and chips, coleslaw, pickled beets, cake, soup.
Thursday: Lemon pepper chicken, vegetables, half baked potatoes, carrot-raisin salad, Cook's choice dessert, soup.
Friday: Breakfast 8:30-9:30 a.m. French toast, bacon and eggs, fresh fruit.
