The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:


• Jamie Bustamante, 30, of Sacramento, was arrested at 3:03 a.m. Tuesday at Saliman Road and Fifth Street on suspicion of felony possession of a stolen vehicle and failure to pay fines. His bail was set at $25,905. Also arrested was Michael Bruce Roberts, 28, of Carson City, on suspicion of felony possession of a stolen vehicle, having an open container of alcohol in the car and driving without insurance; and Stacy Coker, 29, of Sacramento, on suspicion of felony possession of a stolen vehicle.


• Jackie Legget, 20, unemployed from Carson City, was arrested at 1:57 a.m. Tuesday in the 900 block of South Carson Street on suspicion of felony possession of methamphetamine, possession of drugs for sale and misdemeanor possession of paraphernalia. Her bail was set at $11,132. Also arrested was Jim Irvin, 36, of Gardnerville, an archaeological assistant, on suspicion of felony possession of methamphetamine, possession of drugs for sale, felony probation hold and misdemeanor possession of paraphernalia. No bail was set.




n Deputies responded to the following calls:


• A woman lost her purse in the morning, and her credit cards were being used by the afternoon Sunday.


• A white 1989 Ford Ranger was stolen from the 900 block of East Roland Street sometime Sunday night.


• A black 2005 Parker flatbed was stolen sometime between Friday and Monday from the 4300 block of Ryan Way.


• A roommate intervened in his friend's attempt to commit suicide and was cut in the process. The friend was admitted to the hospital.


• Eight rifles and a safe full of pistols were stolen while a homeowner in the 4100 block of Pheasant Drive was out of town.
