Dayton
The lunch menu for the Dayton Senior Center, 320 Old Dayton Valley Road:
Monday: Chicken parmesan, spaghetti noodles, mixed veggies, garlic-cheese bread, mandarin oranges.
Tuesday: Barbecued pork chop, carrots, stuffing, gravy, bread, applesauce.
Wednesday: Meatball stew, cornbread, cabbage, mixed fruit.
Thursday: Beef tips, stir-fry veggies, bread, Jell-O with pears, sherbet.
Friday: Lemon-pepper fish, corn, minestrone soup, bread, apricots.
Silver Springs
The menu for the Silver Springs Senior Center, 1050 Pyramid Way:
Monday: Chili dogs, chips, carrot salad, pineapple with cottage cheese.
Tuesday: Spud stuffer with ground beef, cheese, broccoli, fruit juice, butter, sour cream, cherry crisp.
Wednesday: Lasagna, spinach salad, peaches and pineapple, corn, garlic bread.
Thursday: Oven-fried chicken, winter squash, garlic mashed potatoes, strawberry shortcake, biscuit with butter.
Friday: Fish filets, stewed tomatoes, potato wedges, fruit cocktail, bread with butter, cookies.
Storey County
The Storey County Senior Citizens Center is on the corner of E and Mill streets in Virginia City:
Monday: Salmon patty with dill sauce, oven fried potatoes spinach, pineapple upside-down cake.
Tuesday: Pork chop, baked potato w/the works, green beans, Jell-O with fruit.
Wednesday: Creamy garden spaghetti, salad, garlic bread, pudding.
Thursday: Chicken fajitas, rice, refried beans, yogurt with fruit.
Friday: Cheeseburger, macaroni salad, peas, cookie.
