Janine Coral Showman, 70, a Stateline resident for the past 39 years, died Feb. 7, 2004, in Stateline. She was born March 27, 1933, in Melbourne, Australia, to Harold and Coral Worthington Showman.
She attended high school in Australia and graduated from college with a degree in physical therapy.
Before moving to Stateline, she lived in Reno.
Mrs. Showman was a physical therapist at Brighton Beach Hospital in Australia and worked for several years in Reno. She founded Tahoe Physical Therapy Clinic with her friend Margaret Christiansen. She was a member of the Episcopal Church.
Among her survivors are her business partner and executrix Margaret Christiansen and three cousins in Australia.
At her request, no service will be held.
Cremation will be at Walton's Sierra Crematory.
Walton's Douglas County Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
