Barbara M. Cross, 78, a Carson City resident for the past 17 years, died Feb. 9, 2004, at her home. She was born Jan. 3, 1926, in Los Angeles, to Edward and Charlotte Brown Lambert.
She married Lawrence J. Cross Jr. Sept. 11, 1977, in Las Vegas.
Before moving to Carson City, she lived in Southern California.
Mrs. Cross was a loan officer. She enjoyed arts and crafts, home decorating and traveling the United States with her husband. She was a member of St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church.
Among her survivors are her husband of Carson City; daughter, Dale "Toni" Herndon of Southern California; brother, Kempton Lambert of Grass Valley, Calif.; niece, Lori Campbell of Colorado Springs, Colo.; grandchildren Lakohl Smith, Ameenah Lewis and Aiesha Purdom; and great-grandchildren Kameron Smith and Imani Smith.
No service is scheduled.
