William E. "Bill" Fitzmorris, 63, died Jan. 22, 2004, at his home, of cancer and effects of a stroke. He was born Feb. 22, 1940, in Ogden, Utah, to Robert and Ruth Fitzmorris.
Mr. Fitzmorris worked as a Nevada State Game Warden, retiring in 1999. He enjoyed the children's fishing derby at Lampe Park.
He was preceded in death by his father; sister, Lois Smith and brother, Clark.
Among his survivors are his wife Margaret; son, William Lane of Reno and daughter, Nicole of Wisconsin; stepchildren Rob Amster and Kathy Cyper, both of Carson City and Sheila Thomas of Minden; mother of Montana; brothers James, Robert and Daniel of Colorado and Dennis of Utah; nine grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests blood donations.
No service is planned.
Walton's Chapel of the Valley is in charge of arrangements.
