The Carson City Municipal Golf Corporation, the nonprofit organization that manages Eagle Valley Golf, has announced the appointment of Patty Lundberg Bray to itsBoard of Directors.

Bray, an account representative for Future Electronics, was selected from a field of more than 20 applicants for the volunteer position. Her term of service, as that of all the directors, will be for three years.

After being heavily involved in her career and raising a daughter for the past 10 years, Bray lamented that she previously had little time to spare for community involvement - helping when she could with the Capital City Vollyball Club and Dance Spirit Performing Arts for the Children.

But now that she has the time, she would like to be involved in the marketing and growth of the city-owned golf facility.

"I would like to see the sport grow, involving more family functions and interaction on the golf courses," Bray said. For more information about Eagle Valley Golf, call (775) 887-2380.
