Carson High seniors Ciarra Christian and Katie Kotter have been nominated to play in the third annual McDonalds All-American High School Girls Basketball Game.

They are among 1,000 senior girls from across the country to be nominated for the game. The game will be played at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 31 at the Ford Center in Oklahoma City. The game will be televised by ESPN2 at 2 p.m April 1. Twenty-four girls will be chosen to play in the game.

Christian, a 5-5 guard, is averaging 14 points a game this season, which leads Carson. She's also averaging three rebounds, three assists and 2.5 steals a game. Kotter, a 5-8 guard, is averaging 12 points a game and leads the team with six rebounds a game. She's also averaging three assists and 4.5 steals a game.

For her career, Christian has 842 points, 242 rebounds, 165 assists and 159 steals. Kotter has 1,084 points, 356 rebounds, 163 assists and 349 steals, which is a school record. In their careers, Christian has hit 94 three-pointers while Kotter has hit 32 threes.
