Tahoe Rim Trail Endurance Run canceled

The Tahoe Rim Train Endurance Run has been canceled because of the Waterfall fire.

Organizers are searching for other options for the run originally schedule today.

"We are doing everything in our power to try and deliver the first-class event we've done in the past," said David Cotter, club president. "However, we realize that within the larger viewpoint of life, our race seems pretty insignificant."

In its fourth year, the original course was set to begin in Spooner State Park and cover portions of the trail system, including the Tahoe Rim Trail.
