A community barbecue and celebration to say "thank you" to firefighters, volunteers and all others who responded to aid during the Waterfall fire will begin at noon on the lawn next to the Legislative building. Call Mark Frady, Kiwanis Club of Carson City, 883-8897, for information.
Tuesday
The Burned Area Emergency Response team will present its evaluation of rehabilitation of burned areas at a 6 p.m. meeting at the Carson City Community Center.
You can help
People who would like to volunteer labor or money for the rehabilitation may call the City Manager's Office at 887-2100, where a list of volunteers is being compiled.
