A memorial service for Sabrina H. Schmitt, 24, of Sparks, will be at 6 p.m. Monday at the Holy Cross Catholic Church, 5650 Vista Boulevard, in Sparks.
Mrs. Schmitt died July 28, 2004, in Sparks. She was born Dec. 19, 1979, in San Jose, Calif., to Gary Houseweart and Ellie Peale.
She married Christopher Schmitt on March 4, 2002, in Sparks.
She attended Del Mar High School in San Jose and Truckee Meadows Community College.
Mrs. Schmitt worked as a checker at Scolari's.
She was preceded in death by her mother.
Among her survivors are her husband of Sparks; father and stepmother Gary and Liz Houseweart; sister Adrianna Houseweart and brother Joshua Houseweart all of Carson City; grandmother Dorothy Emmerson; and in-laws Ron and Helen Schmitt and Chris and Katherine Luthi.
Ross Burke and Knobel Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
