Winning pitcher Nick Smallman and Danny Rotter combined for a solid effort on the mound as the Carson Cardinals baseball team beat the South Reno Muc Dogs 11-7 on Tuesday at Ron McNutt Field.
Carson built an 11-3 lead after seven innings. Cameron Leck had two hits, including a triple, Murph Gardner and Royal Good each had two hits, Tony Teixeira doubled and Jeff Hurzel, Kevin Schlange, Tony Fagan, Joe Scates and Josh Caron all added a hit for Carson.
