The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:


• A 44-year-old civil engineer technician from Carson City was arrested Thursday at 8 a.m. in the 1900 block of Beverly Drive on a warrant for suspicion of misdemeanor battery. Bail was set at $500.


• David Anthony Duran, 35, of Sparks, was arrested Wednesday at 2 p.m. on suspicion of felony burglary, grand larceny, fraudulent use of a credit card and forgery. Bail was set at $25,000.


• James Grisamer, 28, an unemployed transient, was arrested at 3 p.m. Wednesday on suspicion of felony forgery and fraudulent use of a credit card. Bail was set at $15,000.


- Deputies responded to the following calls:


• A woman reported Thursday at 3:40 a.m. her boyfriend's friend battered her.


• A truck in the 3200 block of Imperial Way was broken into sometime Wednesday night.


• A child safety seat was stolen from a vehicle in the 500 block of West College Parkway.


• Someone in a small red car shot a paintball gun at a boy Wednesday in the 600 block of Jeanell Drive.


• A window in the 1900 block of Dori Way was reportedly shot out sometime Tuesday night.


• A mother said Wednesday her 12-year-old son had marks around his neck from an assault by a 15-year-old boy.
