• 21st annual Carson City Rendezvous at Mills Park. Features Cowboy Poet of the Year Larry Maurice, David John and the Comstock Cowboys, Sourdough Slim, Cowgirl Karen Quest, Kimberly Mink, Mountain Man Encampment, Pony Express relay enactments, gunfights, American Indian villages, handmade crafts, merchants and vendors. • The Carson Chamber Singers and guest vocalist Jakki Ford will join the Carson City Symphony for the 20th annual Pops Party Concert at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at the Governor's Mansion. Admission is free. Seating is on the lawna patrons are welcome to bring a blanket and picnic. The Carson City Jaycees will sell snacks and beverages. Proceeds benefit the Jaycees and the Carson City Symphony Association.
