A funeral for Solis Joseph Brenner, 89, a Northern Nevada resident for the past five years, will be at 9 a.m. Friday at Forest Lawn in Glendale, Calif.
Mr. Brenner died June 28, 2004, at Carson-Tahoe Hospital. He was born Feb. 7, 1915, in Washington, to Harry and Celia Abrahamsen Brenner.
He married June Thomas Sept. 26, 1964, in Los Angeles.
Before moving to Northern Nevada, he lived in Las Vegas.
Mr. Brenner was past owner-operator of an aircraft parts business.
Among his survivors are his wife of Carson City; sons Randolph Thomas of Las Vegas, Johnathan Thomas of Novato, Calif., and Terry Brenner of California; daughter, Irene James of Lincoln City, Ore.; brother, Lee of Glendale, Calif.; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
FitzHenry's Funeral Home and Forest Lawn are in charge of arrangements.
