The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:


• A 46-year-old unemployed woman from Pico Rivera, Calif., was arrested at 12:25 a.m. Friday on suspicion of misdemeanor domestic battery. Bail was set at $3,105.


• An 18-year-old Carson City clerk was arrested at 10:15 a.m. Thursday in the 1100 block of North Saliman Road on suspicion of misdemeanor contempt of court. Bail was set at $228.

n Deputies responded to the following calls:


• An SBC picketer claimed someone tried to run him over Friday at 7:25 a.m. as he picketed in front of the Mallory Way office. A report was taken.


• Traffic was delayed at Hot Springs Road and Roop Street about 9:15 a.m. Friday as police helped Parole and Probation officers apprehend a probation absconder.


• A mother reported Thursday a classmate burned her 13-year-old daughter with a cigarette.
