CARSON CITY

The lunch menu for the Carson City Senior Citizens Center, 911 Beverly Dr.:

Monday: Holiday, center closed.

Tuesday: Lemon pepper chicken, stuffing, spring mix veggies, cornbread with butter, green salad, diced pears.

Wednesday: Green pepper steak, rice, corn, roll with butter, romaine salad with dressing, brownies.

Thursday: Lasagna, garlic bread, Italian veggies, spinach salad with dressing, cherries and cream.

Friday: Roast beef, baked potato, green beans, roll with butter, dream bar, mixed fruit.

DAYTON

The lunch menu for the Dayton Senior Center, 320 Old Dayton Valley Road:

Monday: Holiday, center closed.

Tuesday: Meatloaf, mashed potatoes with gravy, green beans, peaches, bread with butter.

Wednesday: Corned beef, cabbage, carrots with onions, potatoes, rye bread, banana, vanilla pudding.

Thursday: Barbecue chicken, baked beans, broccoli, strawberry shortcake, bread with butter.

Friday: Crab salad, beets, Saltines, cantaloupe cubes, fruit crisp.

DOUGLAS COUNTY

The lunch menu for the Douglas County Senior Center, 2300 Meadow Lane:

Monday: Holiday, center closed.

Tuesday: Pork fritter, Waldorf salad, mashed potatoes with gravy, five-way vegetables, applesauce, spice cake.

Wednesday: Hot pastrami and Swiss on sourdough, red potato salad, Oregon blend vegetables, orange wedge, brownie.

Thursday: Barbecue beef sandwich, potato rounds, broccoli, pasta salad, apple juice, orange sherbet.

Friday: Ham and potato casserole, Italian cabbage salad, brussel sprouts, pears, French bread, chocolate cake.

silver springs

The dinner menu for the Silver Springs Senior Center, 1050 Pyramid Ave.:

Monday: Holiday, center closed.

Tuesday: Chicken pita, corn chowder, broccoli, watermelon, salad bard.

Wednesday: Meatloaf, mashed potatoes, peaches, mixed veggies, rolls and butter.

Thursday: Hot turkey sandwich, stuffing with gravy, Harvard beets, fresh orange.

Friday: Baked salmon, stewed tomatoes, fruit mix, rice pilaf, cornbread.

STOREY COUNTY

The Storey County Senior Citizens Center is located on the corner of E and Mill streets in Virginia City:

Monday: Holiday, center closed.

Tuesday: Fried rice with bacon and egg, Joan's salad, fortune cookie, citrus medley.

Wednesday: Pork chop, scalloped potatoes, green salad, corn bread, chocolate pudding.

Thursday: Company chicken on brown rice, peas, garlic bread, applesauce pie.

Friday: Fish and chips, asparagus, Jell-O with fruit.

YERINGTON

The Yerington Senior Center is at 117 Tilson Way:

Monday: Holiday, center closed.

Tuesday: Spaghetti, green beans, garden fresh salad, french bread, fruit dish, soup.

Wednesday: Tacos, refried beans, peach cottage cheese salad, ice cream, soup.

Thursday: Beef stew, coleslaw, biscuits, pudding, soup.

Friday: Biscuits and gravy, ham, fresh fruit salad, grapefruit sections and oranges.

FERNLEY

Lunch is served on weekdays at Fernley Center, 1170 W. Newlands Dr.:

Monday: Holiday, center closed.

Tuesday: Tuna salad, garden soup, Tater Tots, applesauce, roll.

Wednesday: French dip, mixed veggies, pasta salad, Mandarin orange Jell-O.

Thursday: Pasta bake, spinach salad, apple crisp, garlic bread.

Friday: Breakfast from 9:30-10:30 a.m. Chicken fried steak, gravy, biscuits, tomato juice, peaches.
