The Tahoe Rim Trail Association will celebrate National Trails Day with a number of activities at Tahoe Meadows on Saturday, June 5.
Tahoe Meadows is located adjacent to Nevada S.R. 431 (The Mt. Rose Highway) near Mt. Rose Summit.
Those activities include:
9-9:30 a.m. - Meet and greet.
9:30-10:30 a.m. - Local flora and fauna hike with Tim Hauserman.
11-12 noon - Children's hike with Sara Holm.
11-12 noon - Historical hike.
1-2 p.m. - Children's hike.
9 a.m. to 3 p.m. - Leave No Trace Booth and Health Professionals Booth.
