Barry Allen Schaum Sr., 63, a Carson City resident for the past six years, died Nov. 2, 2004, at Carson-Tahoe Hospital. He was born Oct. 17, 1941, in Philadelphia to Alvy and Elinor Salmonsen Schaum.
He graduated from Franklin College of Science and Arts in Pennsylvania.
He married Pamela Meiselbach June 5, 1998, in Show Low, Ariz.
Before moving to Carson City, he lived in Port Arkansas, Texas.
Mr. Schaum was a retired medical technician and phlebotomist. He was a member of various Harley-Davidson clubs and the Carson City Tennis Club.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother.
Among his survivors are his wife; son and daughter-in-law, Barry Allen Jr. and Cheryle; and grandson, Colton Allen.
Cremation will be at Walton's Sierra Crematory.
A memorial service will be at a later date.
