Michael Richard Streeter, 55, a former Gardnerville resident, died Oct. 27, 2004, in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, from complications of heart failure. He was born Dec. 26, 1948, in Sparks, to Richard and Winnie Streeter.
He attended elementary and high school in Sparks.
Mr. Streeter worked for various construction companies throughout Northern Nevada, Hawaii and Southern California.
He served in the U.S. Marine Corps.
Among his survivors are his father of Sparks; mother Winnie Abel and sister, Katie Ritter, both of Reno; wife Sandra of Valencia, Calif.; sons George of Smith Valley and Tyler of Hermosa Beach, Calif.; daughter, Kelly Streeter of Valencia and stepson, Robert Avitia of Henderson and four grandchildren.
A memorial service will be at a later date.
