A funeral service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Gall Catholic Church for Lillian Wunderlich, 92, a Minden resident for the past 27 years.

A viewing will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Gall followed by the saying of the Rosary at 11 a.m.

Inurnment service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Eastside Memorial Park in Minden.

Mrs. Wunderlich died Nov. 11, 2004, at home. She was born Dec. 12, 1911, to Edward and Emma Blank Cordes in New Ulm, Minn.

She enjoyed fishing in her younger years and playing Bunko and Bingo at the senior center. She worked as a bookkeeper and in the dry cleaning business.

Prior to living in Minden she lived in Northridge, Calif., and visited Minden yearly for 60 years.

She was a member of the senior center in Gardnerville and a longtime member of Trinity Lutheran Church until she joined St. Gall in 2000.

She was 7 years old when her mother died and she quit grade school to stay home to help with the family.

She was preceded in death by her husband she married in 1945, August "Gus" Wunderlich; brothers Art and Mel and sister Olivia.

Among her survivors are her son Dirk of Minden and nephews Gene and Evan Cordes of Minnesota.

Donations in her name may be made to St. Gall Catholic Church memorial garden or to Barton Hospice, 1617 Water St. No. K, Minden, NV 89423.

Cremation is at FitzHenry's Crematory.

FitzHenry's Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
