A memorial service for Michael Sonny, 84, a Merced, Calif., resident, will be at 2 p.m. Nov. 27, at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Merced, Calif.
Mr. Sonny died Nov. 15, 2004, at Merced Living Care in Merced. He was born July 24, 1920, in Colver, Pa.
Mr. Sonny was an upholsterer for 50 years. He upholstered antique boats, which he loved. He was a Jehovah's Witness.
He was preceded in death by sons Daniel and David.
Among his survivors are his wife, Lillian, of Merced; son, Michael of Carson City; daughters Beverly Coon of Porterville, Calif., Andrea Pacheco of Merced and Cynthia Concepcion of Winton, Calif.; brothers Joseph and Andrew of Hubbard, Ohio; 17 grandchildren and 38 great-grandchildren.
Private burial will be at Lakewood Memorial Park.
Lakewood Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
