The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:


• Juan Contreras Ramirez, 29, of Carson City, was arrested on suspicion of discharging a firearm into a structure and discharging a firearm in city limits on the 1800 block of East Long Street. Bail was set at $20,632.


• Jaime Moya, 23, of South Lake Tahoe, was arrested on a fugitive from justice warrant on the 2200 block of Mouton Drive. No bail was set.


• A 59-year-old dishwasher from Carson City was arrested on suspicion of two counts of battery on the 500 block of North Carson Street. Bail was set at $2,264.


• A 26-year-old laborer from Dayton was arrested on a traffic-related warrant on Goni Road and College Parkway. Bail was set at $324.


• A 20-year-old miner from Carson City was arrested on suspicion of domestic battery on the 1100 block of South Nevada Street. Bail was set at $4,132.


• Jason Sonntag, 54, of Carson City, was arrested on suspicion of two counts of possessing stolen credit cards on the 600 block of East College Parkway. Bail was set at $10,000.


• A 21-year-old dishwasher from Carson City was arrested on suspicion of DUI, driving without insurance or a valid driver's license, and no seat belt at Lassen Street and Highway 50. Bail was set at $2,500.


• A 30-year-old assembly line supervisor from Carson City was arrested on suspicion of a second DUI with alcohol on the 1000 block of South Carson Street. Bail was set at $2,500.


• Three food handlers from Carson City, ages 28, 29 and 36, were arrested on suspicion of trespassing on the 3800 block of South Carson Street. Bail was set at $137 each.
