DOUGLAS 2, HUG 1

Colten Mellows scored a goal with 20 minutes left to break a 1-1 tie in the win for the Douglas boys soccer team. Mellows took the ball from his sweeper position and sent a left-footed shot from 40 yards out to the far upper post.

Michael Gransberry gave the Tigers (7-6-1, 4-5) a 1-0 halftime lead off of Martin Rubio's assist. Goalie Chris Aguilar made seven saves, David Sturgess played well at midfield and Nick Cohee also played well.
