Julia Mailander had nine kills and 14 digs to help lead the Galena High volleyball team to a 25-17, 28-26, 25-16 win over McQueen at home on Thursday in its regular season finale.
Also for Galena (36-5, 14-0), Jenny Burrows had eight kills, 10 digs, five aces and four blocks, Lydia Mailander had seven kills, seven digs and three blocks, Chelsa Appelbaum had five kills and two aces, Nancy Burrows had five kills, eight digs and five blocks, Kate Wallace had 32 assists and six digs and Julia Mailander added three blocks.
