The Carson High girls soccer team warmed up for a huge two-game stretch with an 8-0 win at Wooster on Tuesday.

Carson will travel to Reno High on Saturday and then will travel to arch rival Douglas this Tuesday for two key showdowns in the Sierra League. "We've got a couple of tough ones coming up," Carson coach Randy Roser said.

Danielle Benamati and Morgan Beam each scored twice and Sami Valerius, Courtney Hayes, Cassie Bowman and Ann Sinnott all scored once for Carsona against Wooster. The game gave Roser a chance to use many of his players in different positions from what they normally play.

"We moved some players around, let them get some different view of the field," Roser said.

Goalie Allie Otto went unchallenged in posting the shutout as Wooster failed to take a shot on goal.
