An informal gathering of family and friends of Lois Lillian Paule, 76, a Gardnerville resident for many years, will be 2 p.m. Oct. 2 at the home of Denny and Melanie Doyal, 926 Dean Drive, Gardnerville.
Mrs. Paule died Sept. 19, 2004, at her home. She was born Dec. 2, 1927, in Whitman, Wash., to Edwin Hoenike and Bessie Reedy-Hoenike.
She lived in Gardnerville from 1965-93, British Columbia from 1993-2004 and returned to Gardnerville in 2004.
Mrs. Paule worked as a supervisor at Bently Nevada from 1972-1989 when she retired.
Among her survivors are her daughter, Danise Vandale of Abbotsford, B.C.; daughter and son-in-law Melanie and Denny Doyal of Gardnerville; sisters Eleanor Waite and Geraldine Pauletich, both of Orland, Calif.; brother, Kenneth of Roy, Utah; six grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Cremation will be at FitzHenry's Crematory. FitzHenry's Carson Valley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
