The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:
• A 29-year-old driver from Orangevale, Calif., was arrested on suspicion of misdemeanor drunken driving and open container of alcohol in vehicle. Bail was set at $1,319.
• David James Reid, 38, a construction worker from Carson City, was arrested Wednesday on suspicion of felony battery with a deadly weapon. Bail was set at $30,000.
-- Deputies responded to the following calls:
• A bicyclist was struck by a vehicle Wednesday at State and Long streets about 7:20 p.m.
