Carson High's Ryan and Aaron Henry helped the Lassen Community College baseball team take two-of-three this weekend from College of the Siskiyous.

Meanwhile another CHS grad, Cameron Leck, continues to have an outstanding freshman year with San Mateo.

In Saturday's doubleheader opener, Ryan, a 2003 CHS graduate and a redshirt freshman, was the winning pitcher, allowing one run on two hits while striking out four over five innings. Lassen went on to win 13-3 as Henry improved to 3-2.

Henry's younger brother, Aaron, a 2004 CHS graduate and a freshman, went 1-for-3 as he had an RBI single in the first inning.

Lassen lost the nightcap 10-9, falling behind 6-0 after the top of the first. Aaron had an RBI double as Lassen cut the deficit to 6-4 in the bottom of the first.

Lassen was ahead 7-6 when the Siskiyous had the bases loaded and one out. Aaron fielded a single in left field and cut down the go-ahead runner at the plate to keep the score tied 7-7.

Aaron, who's been battling flu-like symptoms, had to come out of the game and Siskiyous went on to win. Aaron also didn't play in Friday's game won by Lassen 7-5.

Leck, a 2004 CHS graduate, was hitting .385 (25-for-65) with two home runs, seven doubles and 15 RBI heading into this weekend.
